Drama CD~ because voice does matter.

How many of you here know about the existence of Drama CD?

A few years back, I was still clueless and don't even realize that such amazing stuff exist. It is another creative way to deliver stories, using ONLY AUDIO.

Some of you might think that, who the heck want to listen to a story without video?

Think again. This type of story telling continue to gain their popularity as we speak.

What is so interesting?

This is the point where you should never underestimate seiyuu's talent. They will do what ever they can to successfully deliver story. For example, the picture above that I got from a 'Yandere's Heaven' website.

Drama CD only need a few illustration to show the character's image. The rest of it was seiyuu's job. Yandere Heaven was about obsessive love that later lead to destruction.

The main characters is Kakeru, little brother in law and Atsushi, the upperclassmen in school.

The heroin or should I say victim to be more specific is no other than you. Yes, YOU!

Although you got no chance to actually say anything, your script are being read by the characters. The characters will usually repeat what you were suppose to say.

Of course Kakeru looks cute and Atsushi is hot, here. But things were no longer like that when there was life in danger. Especially if it is your life. Obviously, you will not die just by listening to this drama cd. That was where the incredible ability of seiyuu shows when you almost believe that you are in danger. Of course, not to mention about the creepy BGM (background music) keep adding the suspense to the story.

To tell you the true, the first time I listen to this drama cd..... O__O'

There's many kind of drama cd other than to Kill you. They got drama cd which was SUPPOSE to let you fall asleep but the opposite thing happen to you. And they also got drama cd which can caused serious nose bleeding.

New feature that I love so much in drama cd? DUMMY head mic. Yes, you did not read it wrong.

Dummy head mic or being described as skinhead girlfriend ( because it has a shape of human head, without hair XD) by some seiyuu bring you deeper into the story where you are able to listen to a movement. One easy example, a mosquito. It's annoying sounds can now be heard moving from your right ear to left ear.

More thrilling example of girls? Just imaging one of your favorite character whispering to your right ear to left ear. When he was too close, you can hear the breath that he exhale. And believe me, they'll do more than just whispering. XD

Some drama cd doesn't involve you inside the story. For example, in some of Vampire Knight drama cd, where Yuki is Yuki. They will tell you stories that you will never found in Anime or manga. Many drama cd came from manga adaptation, game or exist as drama cd only.
